I’m currently producing a new fiction podcast series. It’s a mystery, but has elements of romance and drama and all the things you would expect from my work. I have been fortunate enough to receive a grant from The Canada Council for the Arts for this project. This has given me the ability to hire voice actors, a script editor, and a visual artist. PROJECT TYPE: Scripted Fiction Podcast (Mystery Genre)DATE: Temporary Contract between April 22nd- May 10th, 2024LOCATION: RemoteAPPLICATION DEADLINE: April 15th, 2024DESCRIPTION: I’m seeking a passionate script editor for my new fiction podcast. The story is a mystery with strong romantic elements. The script is a hybrid between an audiobook and radio drama, with the main character narrating the bulk of the series and a cast of voice actors performing the remaining roles. Your responsibilities as script editor will involve reading and providing written and verbal feedback on the script. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the material, have strong attention to detail, and be able to communicate feedback clearly and effectively.
